Measuring the cylinder (SWISS or EURO PROFILE)

The outside length (A) and inside length (B) of your door determines what total length (A+B) the cylinder must have to fit exactly. The lengths are standardized and have the following typical lengths (each in 5mm intervals): 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60.

The digital cylinder has a total lengths of 60 - 120 mm, in particular the outside length (A) 30 - 60 mm, and inside length (B) of 30 - 60 mm. Inside length (B): Measure from the center of the lock to the inside edge of the door. Outside length (A): Measure from the center of the latch to the outer edge of the door.

What is the difference between a SWISS PROFILE and EURO PROFILE. The keyhole of SWISS PROFILE cylinder: height is 35 mm and diameter is 22 mm. The keyhole of EURO PROFILE cylinder: height is 33 mm and diameter is 17 mm.
